The Alters
11 bit studios has a knack for chasing its unique, experimental ideas to their very ends, in the process delivering some of the freshest gaming experiences you’ll find. The upcoming The Alters is looking like it’s going to follow suit. Though technically a survival game on paper, The Alters is flipping the genre on itself thanks to its narrative-driven nature, its focus on player choice and agency, and its bizarre core premise, which sees you playing as multiple versions of a single character. Everything that we have seen of The Alters so far has looked captivating, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it when it launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime later this year.
