The Thing: Remastered
Based on John Carpenter’s film by the same name, The Thing is easily one of the most memorable games of the 2000s thanks to its ability to mesh contrasting elements like action and survival horror together in a pretty cohesive fashion. Fans of the original would be glad to know that a remastered version of the game is in the works at Nightdive Studios, and it will add plenty of new quality-of-life changes like an enhanced Trust/Fear system, cleaned-up textures, and achievements which should make this revisit worthwhile for both veterans and newcomers. It’s coming out soon for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
