Halo Infinite is set to be the next entry in Microsoft’s long running shooter series. The game looks to have a lot of ambition, and will hit sometime this Fall. While no doubt fans are eager to see what 343 Industries will do with the new game, it’s possible they are already looking beyond Infinite to some degree for the franchise’s future.

A recent job listing popped up via Microsoft Careers, and spotted via Wccftech, for a spot at 343 Industries. The job is a Producer on what is described explicitly as a “new project in the Halo Universe.” You can see the listing in full through here. There are no details on what the project is expected to be.

The Halo series is no stranger to multiple different spinoffs, so it’s anyone’s guess what this new project could be. Halo Infinite is set to come out Fall for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC, so whatever this new project is, we probably won’t hear anything about it until that drops.
