There is never a dull year in gaming, there is always something to look forward to every year. Destiny has been a large part of the excitement this year and the game was one of the most anticipated games in history, so much so that many people almost forgot about the Call of Duty franchise for a couple of minutes.

While the game did get a few underwhelming reviews and a lot of complaints, but there is no denying that the game is extremely fun. A lot of players have invested their time into it and the game has done a great job of sucking them right in. While Destiny has been out only for a couple of months now, there is a reason why the game is  one the best-selling new franchise ever, having pulled in $325m worldwide in its first five days on sale.

We have only touched the tip of the iceberg in this game and I’m pretty confident that Bungie will add in more interesting content in the days and months to come. With that here are some of the most interesting facts and secrets about Destiny that you may not be aware of.

Novabomb

The Novabomb is a pretty powerful ability, however it is restricted to a certain class. The Novabomb is Warlock Super Ability and is basically used by the Voidwalker subclass in Destiny. Interestingly enough, the player can release this powerful projectile shot at an opponent where it explodes upon contact, which in turn deals some pretty heavy damage in the area-of-effect. However the most interesting thing about this ability apart from the damage it causes is that it shares its name with the NOVA Bomb from the Halo Universe, which was also created by Bungie.
