Hitman: Absolution just came out today and PC gamers will be greeted with a massive 23 GB download on Steam. There’s a reason for that, however, as the textures are of insanely high quality and if your computer can run the game with details set to ‘Ultra’, you will be able to see some amazing graphics which borders on next-gen territory.

The amount of effort put in by IO Interactive has been spectacular. It has also got a lot to do with Square Enix, who have supported the team with great budget and time, just like they did with the PC versions of Sleeping Dogs and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Here are some fantastic screenshots that will show you exactly why the PC version is heads and shoulders above the console versions when it comes to graphics. We also reviewed the game and gave it a glowing 9/10 score, you can read that here.
