Arma 3 developers given bail, Dean Hall ecstatic

Arma 3 developers who were detained in Greece for spying on military installations have been released on bail according to recent developments.

The bail amount was set at 5000 Euros for each developer, and Greek PM Antonis Samaras personally contacted the Czech PM Petr Nečas over telephone to notify him of this.

“Both can now return back to the Czech Republic. PM Petr Nečas expressed appreciation for the efforts of PM Antonis Samaras and thanked him,” said Petr Nečas’ spokesperson Michal Schuster on Tuesday.

The developers were earlier denied bail and were supposed to face 20 years in jail if the Greek court had found them guilty. The Czech president also helped them and was instrumental in getting them out.

They had earlier written a touching letter from a prison.

“Your effort makes it easier to handle: we enjoy the postcards, community news, pictures and puzzles which are being regularly send by this website’s magnificent staff, It seem that it will take some time before we could return home and there is certainly much to overcome,” the letter read.

Dean Hall who is a Bohemia employee expressed his happiness over the bail news and wanted to see the two developers as soon as possible.
