Platinum Games has released a new trailer for the upcoming action adventure, hack-and-slash game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. We finally get to meet the big four bosses in the game, and get a closer look at their attack patterns and special abilities.

Mistral is capable of attaching and detaching Metal Gear GEKKO arms to and from her body, using them as a deadly whip-like weapon when it counts. Monsoon, perhaps the coolest of the bunch, can evade Raiden’s rapid slash by systematically dismantling his body in key places before the slices hit.

Sundowner is the standard tank boss, who uses large blades and a wall-like barrier to knock Raiden back. Not to mention he can easily lift up a metal pillar and smack Raiden left and right with ease.

The final boss, Sam, is shown at the end and we don’t really get much clue as to his abilities. But hey, it’s the robot dog refereeing their fight. Somehow this makes it even more awesome.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be releasing on February 19th for North America and 22nd for Europe on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
