MLB 13: The Show Dev Blog Goes on the Long Road to The Show

Check out how this edition presents itself compared to last year.

SCE San Diego is back with a new developer blog for MLB 13: The Show, the upcoming baseball simulator for Playstation 3 and PS Vita releasing on March 5th 2013.

The new dev blog looks at the so-called “Road to the Show” and showcases the new features and presentation gimmicks that will be seen this time around. This includes new cameras on the field to give a more dynamic feel to the action and more realistic audio to go with the customization.

MLB 13: The Show is putting a lot of emphasis on the realism aspect but will also be overhauling its Diamond Dynasty mode to allow players to craft the perfect teams.

As if to make it more worthwhile, both the PS3 and PS Vita versions will feature cross play for competing against real-life opponents no matter where you go and cross-save for moving back and forth between playing at home and on the go.
