Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance VR Missions DLC Receives New Trailer

Solid Snake and a break-dancing little Gekko surprisingly steal the show.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be receiving three new DLC packs in the coming months from Platinum Games. The first DLC will contain several VR missions featuring Raiden and the Dwarf Gekko, for which a new trailer has been released.

With 30 missions in total, which include several missions where you’ll be restricted to using melee attacks without your sword to platforming stages with Dwarf Gekko (who does a little break dance at the end of each stage’s completion), there’s a ton of content to be had.

We also get to see the Soul Snake Wooden Sword in action, that has Solid Snake provide voice overs for everything that Raiden does. It’s less corny than it sounds. Quite frankly, we see nothing wrong with Solid Snake telling us “Mada mada Dane!” when we’re taking a beating.

The first DLC pack will be available in Japan on April 2nd. Expect news of a Western release soon.
