The PS Vita has managed to hold on to its place at the top of individual hardware sales chart. The console sold 62,000 units and too the no. 1 spot, followed by the 3DS which did 61,000 units.

Soul Sacrifice was a major hit in Japan selling 93,000 copies and Comcept and Sony should be pleased with these sales.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F sold 110,000 units and topped the software charts for this week.

The PS3 was at no. 3 spot and sold 19,000 units and the Wii U is really doing poorly in Japan with only 9,000 units sold.

The Vita has been doing well for now but once the software dries up the hardware has to hold the same amount of sales for the price drop to be termed as effective.

But for now Sony has done well in Japan. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
