‘Reliable IGN sources’ (via CVG) have revealed that a Gears of War title is in works for Microsoft’s Kinect, which has sold one million units in its first ten days of release. Though whether it will be an all new Gears game or just an old GeoW title with motion controls is not yet known.
Epic design director Cliff Bleszinski recently also tweeted that there will be “No Kinect in Gears of War 3.” CVG suspects, and so do we, that we’re in for a spin-off, or maybe just a re-release. Either way, we’re good.
