Announced at last year’s Spike TV Video Game Awards, Dark Souls II is the sequel to the critically and commercially successful dungeon crawler by From Software. Given how niche the first game – Demon’s Souls – was, it’s amazing that Dark Souls even came into exist.

There haven’t been a lot of details revealed about the second game lately. We do know that there well be a new pair of directors Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura taking the place of Hidetaka Miyazaki, who directed the first game and now serves on as supervisor for the sequel. Now it seems there will be an update on the game on April 11th.

At the end of the “Don’t Tread on My Souls” video feature, it stated, “Come back to GameTrailers Thursday, April 11 for Dark Souls II.” (Thanks to NeoGAF for pointing this out)

As of now, there’s been no gameplay footage showcase. Maybe this is that update? Stay tuned for more next week.
