The Last of Us is set to release exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on June 14th but the rave reviews just keep on coming. So far, not a single review has scored the game less than a 9 out of 10, and developer Naughty Dog further capitalized by officially announcing the multiplayer mode for the game.

But that’s not all apparently. After the release of the multiplayer trailer, Naughty Dog tweeted the following on its official account:

What could it be? Maybe an announcement for DLC? Perhaps the announcement that The Last of Us will actually be hitting the PlayStation 4 after all as a launch title (as opposed to the developer stating that no such version was in development due to concentrating on the current gen release)?

It’s tough to say at this point, and it could end up being nothing too big after all. Nonetheless, as we near ever closer to the release date – and to E3 2013 – it’ll be intriguing to see how Naughty Dog plans to steal our attention.
