Capcom Hints At Special Reveals For Comic-Con 2013

Street Fighter and DuckTales: Remastered to take center stage.

That's a KO for Street Fighter 4.

Capcom, one of the oldest and most influential gaming companies around, has hinted that at this years San Diego Comic-Con fans can expect some exciting and “special” updates on some of their best known series titles.

Capcom is a gaming powerhouse, with an extensive list of hit games and series’. Specifically on the docket for this years Comic-Con are two titles in particular that will hit close to home for long time gamers.

First up is the always-anticipated Street Fighter update. Capcom has been regularly banging out Street Fighter updates since it’s initial release for the arcade in 1987. One of the best selling video game franchises of all time, Street Fighter has had several individual titles pull in over $1 billion in revenue for Capcom. Several titles. That’s a lot of Street Fighter love, and a lot of people who are itching to hear what’s happening next for the series.

Their next promised reveal truly hopes to be something special: A reboot of the beloved 1989 NES (1990 Gameboy) platformer, Duck Tales. The remake will feature many of the original games levels and bosses, with much additional content thrown in as well. Duck Tales Remastered will release on the Play Station Network, Xbox Live, and the Nintendo eShop.
