Flashback (3)
VectorCell’s Flashback, a remake of the 1992 side-scroller, will be heading to Steam on October 1st and retail for $12 according to an update on its official Steam page. It will be releasing for both PC and Mac, with an Xbox 360 release already available. Strangely enough, there is no official word on when we can expect the PlayStation 3 version.

Flashback will see several improvements to the original game with updated graphics, a new skill system which allows you to customize your character and even new story additions in the form of extra dialogue and voice acting. You’ll also be able to aim a full 360 degrees this time around. The game also features the original 1992 game available for play so you can compare and contrast the two versions.

Despite arriving significantly latter than the Xbox 360 version, the PC and Mac versions won’t have any new features. Check out our official review of the Xbox 360 version here.
