Third person action adventure title How to Survive, developed by Eoko Software and published by 505 Games, is now available on Xbox Live and Steam. Check out the launch trailer above.

How to Survive places you in the middle of the zombie apocalypse on an island just off the coast of Colombia, but doesn’t just have you beating on the undead. Rather, you’ll need to find shelter, food, water and scavenge for other items in order to create the tools you’ll need to survive. These include scrap metal, tires, harpoons and empty bottles, each which carries their own use depending on how you use them.

How To Survive retails for $14.99 for the Xbox 360 and PC versions. Eko Software will release a version of the game for PlayStation Network later this Fall along with a Wii U version on the Nintendo eShop. Does the game tap into your survival instincts or will you be passing it up in favour of the bigger releases this week? Let us know in the comments.
