Ryse: Son Of Rome Recieves A Live Action Series: ‘The Fall’

Ryse to glory

Posted By | On 01st, Nov. 2013

Earlier today the first trailer was released  for the upcoming live action series based on the Xbox One exclusive launch title, Ryse: Son of Rome. The series, Ryse: Son of Rome The Fall will debut on Machinima on November 5th.

Given that it’s only a tease, all that can really be gleaned from the trailer is that it looks like somewhat of a combination of the Stars original series, Spartacus, and the hugely popular Game of Thrones. At the end of the day, the source material is one that’s be covered thoroughly and through a large number of mediums – whether this will be a series that’s meant to stand on its own of just one to be viewed in conjunction with the game remains to be seen.

At the end of the day though, it’s tough to deny that the trailer looks pretty cool. The acting and cinematography look pretty intense, and the writing evokes that feeling of epicness that you want from this kind of subject matter. We’ll see how it plays out.
