We have a 11 minute video and 40 images that gives us an i-depth look at the PS4 user interface experience. Right off the bat we can see a list of icons which represent the various categories and apps available on the PS4. This is more or lees in tune with the current industry standard.

We are walked through the various apps, among which are a library which houses all of your fully installed games, and a “live from PlayStation” app which gives users relevant news from around the world. Live from PlayStation also houses Twitch and Ustream tabs. Additionally, the organizational order of the apps rearranges itself based on frequency of use, which is a nice, subtle touch.

We are also shown how to link to websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Netflix and Hulu. There are login settings that offer the options of using passcodes or facial recognition software. The PS4 comes with a 500 GB hard drive, which you can easily manage from the PS4 home menu. Additionally, there are apps to connect to the PS Vita, and to browse the PlayStation Network.
