Well, folks, the numbers are in. At least the numbers up to this point in time, and from the looks of things, PS4 is the clear winner in terms of overall sales in the UK. And bear in mind that the Wii U has been on the market for over a year now. Here are some fun facts.

The Wii U, as of now, has reported 150,000 total sales in the UK in the past year. The PS4 reported somewhere in the neighborhood of 250,000 sales in it’s opening weekend. Just think about that. PS4 sold nearly twice as many consoles in one weekend as the Wii U did in an entire year. Not bad, Sony.

Xbox One has nothing to be ashamed of either, though it’s numbers aren’t as high as those of the PS4. Reports are that in its opening weekend the Xbox One sold 150,000 units in the UK, and has since sold an additional 20,000. While the PS4 is the clear winner, both the PS4 and the Xbox One are far outstripping the Wii U in terms of UK sales.
