Deep Down, the new PlayStation 4 exclusive title received some informative updates today. Deep Down has garnered the attention of the gaming community with the announcement that the online fantasy game will be completely free to play, despite the game seeming to have rather a lot of depth.

The update features what we can expect from some of the medieval type armor that the game will utilize, which apparently has been inspired by actual armor that was used in combat in the 15th century. There are a number of different armor types, each of which has been modeled after a realistic counterpart.

In the game, players will enter different dungeons by means of touching a series of stones. Each dungeon is to be reminiscent of a different period in history, and as such, each dungeon’s armor will reflect that period of history as well. What this means is that the various types of armor are stored in the stones as it were.

Different skills will be enabled depending on the types of armor you have equipped, which means that we will likely be given the opportunity to mix and match elements of our favorite armors.
