Trailer For Bravely Second Found After Credits of Bravely Default

And it looks amazing.

It seems that Square Enix is taking a leaf out of Marvel’s book. After the credits roll on their just-released game, Bravely Default, the essential re-release of the original 2012 Japanese Bravery Default, there lies a trailer which teases at the game’s sequel, Bravely Second.

If you haven’t played Bravely Default the teaser will be confusing at first. Don’t worry, I was in the same boat. From the looks of things, it seems the protagonist was badly wounded after whatever final boss fight there was, and has been captured by some organization who intend to either kill him or perform experiments on him.

That is until a fiery woman appears and proceeds to slice and dice foes to shreds, fries them with magic, and frees the hero to whisk him off to who knows where for who knows what purpose. Honestly, I’m sold on Bravely Second just by the trailer. It looks like Square Enix may have some RPG magic left in them yet.
