Ryse: Son of Rome’s multiplayer is still going strong after the initial game’s release. Today, director of programming for Xbox Live Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb revealed two new multiplayer updates, one free and the other paid, for Xbox One players.

Two new level events for Gladiator mode, which will happen randomly across different maps, make up the free update. These include an enemy turrent that will fire at players until they destroy it and deity status that will give a significant boost to your health and focus.

Then there’s the Colosseum Pack. It adds two new arenas: a forest with multitude of barbarians (Henge) and a battle through Hades’ underworld (Ascension). It also includes avatar skins for Commodus and the Centurion, retailing for $3.99. Of course, if you picked up the Season Pass, it will arrive free for you.

Are you still into Ryse: Son of Rome or have you moved on to other titles since the launch of the Xbox One? Let us know below.
