Final Fantasy VI

Square Enix has announced that arguably the greatest Final Fantasy of all time (depending on who you talk to), Final Fantasy VI, is now available on Android via the Google Play Store. The game is compatible with Android 3.2 but is recommended for use with Android 4.0 and up. It retails for $15.99.

Featuring recreated graphics and new touch screen controls, Square Enix has also overhauled the battle system. Best of all, the remake’s visuals were supervised by original graphic designer Kazuko Shibuya. So it’s not like All The Bravest (and we don’t mean in terms of tons of micro-transactions either).

Also, all the events and magicites brought to the 2006 remake will also be included. You can also use the Album feature in order to catch up on the story. Multiple supported languages means that just about any one can enjoy the game. Check out the recently released screenshots below and let us know whether you’ll be picking it up for Android.
