Sony has been talking about Deep Down a bit more openly recently- having just released a trailer a couple days ago- and they have now released a few new bits of information on the free to play online RPG.

According to the information released, the game will feature an item known as “Memento”, which will be used to strength your weapons and armour and also to help you enter dungeons. The Memento will also, throughout the game, give some information on the narrative and the plot.

The protagonist of the game will also have several companions, according to this new info, and we as players will be able to keep track of them through what is very similar to an in-game social networking site. This information will be displayed via a wall monitor of a computer in the player’s room. This computer will be called the “Sphere.”

For more info on Deep Down, stay tuned.
