Even before it was revealed to be slightly less long than a full-scale MGS campaign, Kojima Productions’ Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes’ £39.99 price was viewed as a bit unfair by players. Now, Konami has announced that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will retail for £29.99, thus pricing it evenly with the digital versions of the game.

Originally, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions were priced the same but now current gen versions of the game will be available for £19.99.

As the so-called “prologue” to the total Metal Gear Solid 5 experience, Ground Zeroes focuses on Big Boss aka Snake as he works to rescue Chico and Paz while battling a new threat in the form of the XOF. The linear approach of previous games is replaced with a more open world environment, allowing you to approach missions in any fashion, partake in side-quests, hijack any vehicles and plan your escape as need be.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes releases on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 in North America on March 18th and in Europe on March 20th.
