Namco Bandai has announced that From Software’s dungeon-crawling, nightmarish RPG follow-up Dark Souls 2 is finally available in North America for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4. Created by a new director duo, Dark Souls 2 brings new enemies, new bosses, challenges and a new world to slog through in the effort to stay alive. It also boasts improved visuals over the original to further immerse you in the suffering you’re about to endure.

Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Namco Bandai Games America Chris Gilbert stated that, “Possessing both technical and aesthetic improvements over its predecessor, Dark Souls II represents the pinnacle of From Software’s development prowess on both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 systems.

“No other game combines the technical craft of video game development with the delivery of true emotional highs and lows quite like the Dark Souls franchise. Players must prepare themselves for a truly unique gaming experience and go beyond death once they enter the world of Dark Souls II.”

Dark Souls 2 will also be releasing on April 25th for PC. You can check out our review of the game here.
