Gameplay Footage Released For The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Gameplay video showing good old spidey in action.

Activision have released the very first video that shows gameplay footage of the upcoming Beenox developed movie tie-in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The video is about three minutes long (just a little over three minutes, in fact) and shows plenty of gameplay footage captured from the game’s Xbox 360 version.

It has to be said that, after watching the video, it seems that Beenox hasn’t changed to much in way of the gameplay, other than a few minor tweaks and improvements. The combat and the stealth sections- especially one section that is shows that involves hostages and Spider-Man looking at them from a higher vantage point in the room- are largely reminiscent of the Batman: Arkham games. The navigation is still largely similar to what we have seen in previous video game iterations of the Spider-Man franchise.

Take a look at the video above, it might interest you.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 releases on April 29 for the PX, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, 3DS, Wii U, iOS and Android- so basically everything, except the PS Vita.
