Tango Gameworks has released a new gameplay trailer for The Evil Within as PAX East rolls around and we get a fairly good look at some of the enemies within, which includes a lethal killer with a box for a head, a heavily scarred robed man with superhuman strength, monsters that crawl on all six legs and much more. Check it out above.
The Evil Within is the product of horror veteran Shinji Mikami and centers on detective Sebastien Castellanos as he enters a demented world after investigating a mass murder with his officers. How and why he got there – along with the force that killed his colleagues – is yet to be revealed but there is all manner of insanity happening and Sebastien must find a way to survive.
The Evil Within releases on August 26th in North America and August 29th in Europe for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
