After a general lull following its reveal at E3 2013, Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max is back in the public eye with the new Magnum Opus trailer. It’s less of a showcase for the game’s vehicular combat is more about announcing that the game’s release date has slipped to 2015 though. Check it out above.

Mad Max embodies the post-apocalyptic open world universe of the movies in which your car is the best means of survival in the Wasteland. Bandits, thieves and other crazy denizens seek to take down the iconic Mad Max but luckily, you’ll be able to utilize your vehicle and hand to hand skills to eliminate them. You also have Chumbucket, who will help you build a vehicle powerful enough to win out in the Wasteland.

Originally set to release this year, Mad Max is in development for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned for more details as E3 rolls around.
