Battlefield 4: Dragon's Teeth

Battlefield 4 may still be in the process of being fixed, but DICE is working hard to improve the experience and wipe out any remaining glitches. DICE’s Vincent Vukovic recently posted on the Battlefield blog about different changes and improvements the studio will be implementing, with netcode being the most important.

“Making improvements to the ‘Netcode’ in Battlefield 4 has been a top priority for us. Some of the items we’ve been specifically looking at is how to decrease the feeling of getting killed when behind cover and getting killed without initially seeing a damage indicator. The improvements we did were released in June, and we’re looking at testing out additional fixes during the coming months.”

Vukovic also revealed that the Ballistics Shield in the Dragon’s Teeth DLC won’t be able to kill enemies in one hit and can’t block or deflect armour piercing bullets. He also talked about improving Rush mode for maps like Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311 and Operation Locker. In these, there’s no Commander Mode along with reduced radar sweeps. There will also be some changes implemented in these maps such as placing MCOM stations and new cover positions.
