Ubisoft recently revealed its first quarter sales figures for the fiscal year of 2015 (April 2014 to March 2015) and it seems that the PS4 is leading in the sales department. According to Ubisoft, 36 percent of its total sales over the quarter came from PS4 titles while the Xbox One sales made up 17 percent of total sales.

This is most likely due to the launch of Watch Dogs in May when 50 percent of total copies were sold on the PS4. The game went on to ship 8 million units worldwide so right off that bat, there’s a significant number of sales for the PS4.

Ubisoft also revealed that these numbers were more than double of next gen sales in Q4 of fiscal year 2014, which consisted of 13 percent sales from PS4 and 7 percent sales from Xbox One. Then again, there weren’t many big releases within this quarter from the company. What are your thoughts on the PS4 outperforming the Xbox One for Ubisoft? Let us know in the comments.
