On July 28, Los Angeles will see a one night showing of The Last of Us: One Night Live, a live reading of select scenes by the principal actors, under the direction of Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog. This new experimental theatrical showing is to highlight the strong narrative of Naughty Dog’s magnum opus, while also highlighting the strong performances delivered by all the artists involved with the game.

The tickets to the actual event are all already sold out, but Sony promises that the event can still be caught on a variety of other avenues, including Twitch, Youtube, or PSN’s Live Event Viewer.

Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, Merle Dandridge, Hana Hayes, and Annie Wersching, in addition to Academy Award winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla, who will perform selections from his score for the game, are all scheduled to appear.

This promises to be something new and special for gaming as a whole- stay tuned for more coverage.
