Hyrule Warriors Character Trailer Focuses on Darunia and His Hammer

Also, lots of smashing.

Following the reveal of classic characters like Sheik, Zelda, Link, Princess Ruto and many more – along with new additions like Lana and a lesser known character like Agitha – Nintendo has unveiled another key character in a new trailer: Darunia, ruler of the Gorons. Check it out above.

Darunia is a pure power player and uses a large Megaton Hammer to annihilate foes. If you look closely in the above trailer, you’ll find a boss that’s similar to one from Ocarina of Time. Aside from that, you’ll see Darunia using over-sized flaming boulders and lots of hammer attacks to clear out crowds. It may not be the smoothest way to get things done but it’s very effective.

Hyrule Warriors will be out in August for Japan on the Wii U while it releases in North America and Europe this September. Are you interested in the game thus far? Let us know in the comments below.
