Microsoft Teasing Its Xbox One Announcements At Gamescom In This New Video

Gamescom heatin' up.

Gamescom, held in Cologne, Germany, is the largest games show in Europe, but traditionally, it has been more about showcasing existing games rather than making it a platform for new announcements. Traditionally, Sony has been the only major company that actually uses the platform to make bog new announcements and reveals. However, it seems as if Microsoft have finally gotten the memo, as their newest video teases their Gamescom appearance.

The video teases ‘new reveals’ and specifically highlights the Xbox Briefing on August 12, Tuesday, an event that will be streamed online as it happens, implying that Microsoft will have something to announce too.

What might Microsoft announce? Well, personally, I just expect more Europe centric details for their software slate already lined up instead of all new announcements, but I might be wrong- with Xbox One sales falling completely behind, Microsoft may use this platform to make some last minute desperate announcements to bring the spotlight back on to the Xbox One.

We’ll keep you posted on what they are doing regardless. Stay tuned.
