Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s Dan Jeanotte Talks About Playing Arno

It seems playing a bad-ass Assassin is motivation enough.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Unity is roughly two months away from release and will mark a significant turning point for the franchise as it releases solely for PS4 and Xbox One consoles along with PC. That’s not the only change Ubisoft has made though – it’s essentially taken the story back to square one and aims to explore a different arc in the Assassins vs. Templars storyline.

To that end, Dan Jeanotte – who voices protagonist Arno Dorian – spoke about his experience playing the character. There are significant shades of grey throughout the story, if that wasn’t apparent enough, but Arno appears to embody many of the bad-ass qualities that the Assassins have been lacking after Ezio. Jeanotte also leaves us with the memorable line, “Nothing is true, everything is permitted. It’s not a permission – it’s a warning” to further illustrate his bad-assitude.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity releases on October 28th for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
