Theatrhythm... Who the hell came up with that word and thought it was a good idea?

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call

So this one’s for all of you lovely folks that have been paying attention to that strange little sub genre of Rhythm Games that have been churning out recently. Today, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy Theatrhythm (I swear that word is an abomination) fans can finally get their musically inclined hands on Final Fantasy Theatrhythm Curtain Call’s opera battles in a new demo that’s now available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop!

The demo will feature two of the games rhythm based battles. If you’re a bit weird like me and you enjoyed Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, then you will be quite pleased to learn that J-E-N-O-V-A is one of the playable tracks. The other being Edgar and Sabins Theme from Final Fantasy VI.

As an added little bonus for the dedicated fans of the series that will no doubt download this, players who have installed the demo will get free additional characters unlocked in the final product.

And as you’ve probably come to expect, the demo can only be launched 30 times before it expires. Dammit Nintendo, fix that nonsense.
