Your online play experience may be interrupted.

DriveClub’s launch has been a spectacular trainwreck. The game, which has been in development since forever, was originally due to launch alongside the PlayStation 4 last November, was delayed by nearly a year, finally launched to some very middling reviews (at best), saw its server capacity entirely overloaded (which is a pretty serious issue considering that online and social play is the point of the game) to such an extent that the launch of the free PS+ version was delayed to free up server capacity… whew. Yeah, the point is, the game has been having it rough.

Now, Evolution Studios has confirmed that it is going to try to diagnose these server issues so it can fix them. That’s good, right? Sure it is. Except now, your online play might be interrupted and affected while they do so.

Yikes. I really hope this game gets on the rails (or on the road, in its case) again.
