Tales From the Borderlands Dev Interview Shows New Gameplay Footage

Telltale Games and Gearbox Software have been very quiet about Tales From the Borderlands details especially with regards to gameplay footage. Thankfully, a new developer interview has landed today which shows key members of Gearbox sharing their thoughts on the adventure game. The video also showcases some new footage for the game, so check it out above.

Tales From the Borderlands takes place after Borderlands 2, though where it sits in the timeline following the release of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is yet to be revealed. It centers on Rhys and Fiona, a pair of treasure hunters on a quest for, well, treasure. The adventure title takes place across five episodes and will feature plenty of the same voice actors from the previous games.

Set to release “soon”, Tales From the Borderlands will be on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and PC with each episode costing $5. A Season Pass should arrive as well to provide a discount on all five episodes and you can also look forward to releases on iOS and Android. Will it arrive before 2014 ends? We’ll find out in the coming month.
