Driveclub Japan DLC Teased By Evolution Studios?

I can think of worse places to race than Japan.

Evolution Studios, developers of the racer DriveClub, have released an image that has driven fans into a speculation flurry that may well be teasing an upcoming Japanese location. Looking at the image, it’s obvious that the first location to jump to mind is Japan. The falling Sakura blossoms are an iconic sight in Japanese cinematography and artwork and has become synonymous with Japan in general.

The community has worked itself into a tizzy with some claiming that this is upcoming DLC and others trying to debunk the theory. It’s understandable why some people would like to debunk this theory, the launch of Driveclub was less than stellar.

Frankly speaking, it was embarrassing and it’s yet to be truly fixed. So many users would far rather wait on the game to be truly fixed before they start buying into DLC for the game. Though it’s possible that the DLC, if that is what it seems to be, would be given away for free as a means of saying sorry to gamers who still feel burned.
