Call of Duty Advanced Warfare: Matchmaking Still Being Optimized, Reverse Boosting Won’t Be Tolerated

"We have a low tolerance approach to people who ruin the experience for others," says Sledgehammer's Michael Condrey.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

You’re probably aware by now that Call of Duty Advanced Warfare isn’t without its flaws, especially when it comes to the most important game mode in it. The multiplayer is now the lifeblood of Call of Duty with the campaign largely being a distraction for most gamers.

The problem with optimization issues can completely ruin gameplay for some users with shots not registering and utterly game breaking lag. But in a recent update, Michael Condrey, Studio Head of Development & Co-founder of Sledgehammer, has said, “We remain committed to optimizing our matchmaking and connectivity, like we always have, throughout the weeks and months ahead. Of course, we’ll update you on any new improvements as we make them and look forward to hearing your feedback on our efforts.”

Another big problem in a game which is predominantly based on online multiplayer, is your community. And things become harder if there are players who find exploit or ways to cheat, but Condrey has taken note of this and said, “We have a low tolerance approach to people who ruin the experience for others through cheating, boosting, reverse boosting or being caught with toxic emblems in game. We don’t like seeing any of these happen, and we’re pushing to eliminate these behaviors from the game.”
