The Witcher: Battle Arena Is Now Out

What is it with CD Projekt RED and all of these imaginative names?

CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher franchise may be coming to an end with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt later this year, but that is no reason for their biggest moneymaker to just… fade away, you know? With The Witcher: Battle Arena, CD Projekt RED have utilized their biggest IP to capitalize on two of the biggest trends in gaming at the moment- mobile gaming, and MOBAs. You see, Battle Arena is a Witcher based MOBA designed exclusively for smartphones and tablets.

The game is free to play and features microtransactions, though CD Projekt RED promises us that “the game features no pay to win elements and allows every item and functionality to be unlocked entirely via gameplay.”

The Witcher: Battle Arena is out now on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage. In the meanwhile, be sure to catch the game’s launch trailer above.
