Battlefield Hardline Available for EA Access on March 12th

Play the first person shooter a good five days before its commercial release.

Visceral Games’ Battlefield: Hardline will be included in EA Access, according to a recent announcement, and players with a subscription will be able to play it from March 12th onwards. This is five days before the game’s official release date and all progress will transfer over into the main game when it’s out.

Terms and conditions apply of course. EA Access players will only have 10 hours worth of playtime, so it’s not quite “early access” in the strictest terms. Nonetheless, it’s still a great way for Xbox One users to get a leg up on their friends.

Battlefield: Hardline will be releasing on March 17th in North America and March 19th in Europe for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It will depart from the military themes of earlier titles and focus on the war between cops and robbers instead. Stay tuned for more information on Hardline as we approach its release.
