Ori and The Blind Forest Launch Trailer Features Impressive Locales

Moon Studios' indie adventure is out on March 11th.

Moon Studios’ indie platformer Ori and the Blind Forest is nearly upon us – it will be releasing on March 11th for the Xbox One and will see players take on the role of Ori as he fights through the forest to save his mother from the evil spirit Kuro. A launch trailer for the game is available and showcases some of the prettier locations you’ll explore in-game.

Ori and the Blind Forest’s art style takes plenty of inspiration from the hand-drawn style seen in Ubisoft’s Rayman Origins & Legends titles. It will also be a story of growing up akin to The Lion King as Ori will need to upgrade his abilities and become stronger to defeat Kuro. It should be noted that checkpoints will be limited in the game, giving Ori and the Blind Forest an old-school touch of sorts.

Will you be exploring Ori and the Blind Forest in less than two days? Let us know in the comments.
