Metal Gear Solid The 1984 Collection

The future of Metal Gear as a franchise may be in flux, what with series creator and director Hideo Kojima unlikely to stay on after the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is released, but Konami is going to milk the brand for all it’s worth while it still can. And so, to that end, they are launching a Metal Gear clothes line. If you were one of those people who were curious about exactly what the Metal Gear 1984 Collection might beThis is it, ladies and gentlemen.

“Step back into the 80’s with our new MGS collection coming very soon!” the publisher said on its Facebook page. “Stay tuned!”

To its credit, the clothes – which you can see in the pictures gallery below – actually look pretty damn good, so it’s not like the quality is lacking here, or anything.

Meanwhile, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will launch on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC later this year. Stay tuned.
