Now that Microsoft has dated its E3 2015 press conference, taking place on June 15th at 9.30 AM PT, Xbox division boss Phil Spencer took to Twitter to talk about the Xbox One going on first among all the platforms, along with other interesting things.

On being asked why the publisher has to go on first, Spencer replied that, “We set our tone and show. Others can react if they want to but I’m comfortable being the first platform briefing.”

As for Sony seemingly playing off of what Microsoft does, Spencer replied that, “I actually think they do less/none of this than people think. They have their own show to run but I understand the concern.”

Spencer further stated that the “we have a lot of discussions about going first. It’s a good question.”

Another interesting question was posed as to whether current Xbox One games which suffered from unlocked frame rates would get a performance boost in the transition to the Windows 10 kernel. Unfortunately, as Spencer noted, “No, you won’t see shipped games perf change based on work we are doing in the future. Sorry.”

Finally, an interesting question was poised to Microsoft Studio manager Mike Ybarra. Would the Xbox One Games tab look better with a “Ready to Install” portion added to the UI? Ybarra thinks so, and stated that it was “good feedback. We’re looking at collection and options there.”

What are your thoughts on the future of Xbox One, especially with the upcoming E3 press conference? Let us know below.
