The new update 1.4 is now live for From Software’s Bloodborne and can be downloaded via the PlayStation Network. It introduces a host of changes, including some tweaks to Chalice Dungeon rewards.

The patch notes indicate that players will be able to store up to 600 quicksilver bullets and blood vials in the Hunter’s Stream storage. Bugs on the Rifle Spear and Blood Gem Imprints have also been fixed, and the weapon and hunter tools have been modified to act mostly as buffs. For those who like to venture into the Chalice Dungeons, boss rewards have been improved to include random drops of Blood Gems.

The Chalice Dungeons will also provide Blood Stone Shards at the different levels with Shards at Depth 1, twin Shards at Depth 2, twin Shards and Chunks at Depth 3, Chunks at Depth 4 and Chunks and Rocks at Depth 5. You can check out the full patch notes here on PlayStation’s Japan page for more details.

Sony confirmed recently that a new expansion would be arriving for Bloodborne at some point. Stay tuned for more information on the same.
