The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny which means a new Nightfall, Weekly Heroic Strike and some new modifiers for the Prison of Elders.

This week’s Nightfall is The Shadow Thief and carries Epic, Nightfall, Void Burn, Solar Burn and Grounded modifiers. The Grounded modifier will be especially tough to deal with since it means enemies do more damage while you’re jumping. This combined with the burns will make for quite the challenge. By contrast, the Weekly Heroic in the Summoning Pits is easier with Heroic and Small Arms (primary weapon damage increased).

Prison of Elders also sees some changes. Kaliks Reborn is now the level 32 Arena activity while level 34 sees Gulrot, Unclean step up to the plate. Guardians won’t have too much trouble on the final round of level 34 since Morbid (increased shields but decreased recharge rate) is active. However, the new mechanics surrounding Gulrot remain to be seen.

Skolas is still being a difficult Kell of Kells to kill (try saying that ten times fast), especially now that this week has Solar Burn active on the final round of level 35. Head here for the full list of modifiers, enemies and other useful tips concerning Prison of Elders.
