Until Dawn

Supermassive Games has announced that PS4 exclusive Until Dawn has gone gold ahead of its release in August. This means that all principle development for the game has wrapped and it’s currently being sent for manufacturing and distribution.

Until Dawn has been in development for quite a long time. It was initially unveiled in 2012 at Gamescom (which is funny because Gamescom 2015 is next week) and was slated to release on the PS3. Controls were primarily based on Sony’s PS Move motion controller but the game was delayed for a very long time. It was re-revealed last year in August for the PlayStation 4 and will now finally be heading to retail.

Much like Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, Until Dawn relies on QTEs and interacting with the environment. Tons of emphasis has been placed on the number of choices available and each decision will have its own consequences sooner or later.

Until Dawn is out on August 23rd for PS4. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.
