Final Fantasy 15 Has Been A Really Great Project For Us – Square Enix

Hopefully the finished product is as good for gamers as the project was for the company.

While most fans of Final Fantasy 15 are in agreement that the development of the game has taken longer than they would have liked, there is very little doubt that Square Enix wants to make sure the game is as good as it can possibly be. As the calendar has turned to 2015, it appears the official release date might actually be coming sooner rather than later. While the game has been in development for quite some time, Square Enix CEO of the Americas and Europe, Phil Rogers believes the making of the game has been a good experience and a great project.

One of the biggest goals, according to Rogers has been to embrace western gamers in order to reach the biggest fanbase. Clearly the company has managed to reach a pretty big fanbase considering the number of people who are chomping at the bit in order to see the next game in the series. This doesn’t even mean just Final Fantasy 15. As Rogers points out, there was plenty of excitement surrounding the announcement of the remake of Final Fantasy 7. “It’s wonderful when we can announce things like Final Fantasy 7 and when you get the biggest round of applause in the show, it’s really humbling. It’s the humbling moment when you know it’s coming and you can hear people around you anticipating it, that’s when you know you’ve listened and you’re doing something very right,” Rogers said.

While we still don’t know exactly when Final Fantasy 15 is going to launch, it’s expected to hit early next year. There’s a chance the official date could be announced at Gamescom. When it does finally launch, it will be available for the Xbox One and PS4.
