DriveClub: Evolution Studios Outlines Its Plans For Year 2

Many more new developments are coming.

A year ago, DriveClub launched. It was a very messy launch, with a lot of server issues and missing functionality. But in the ensuing year, Evolution Studios worked hard to regain its fans’ trust, adding in all the missing features, releasing free content updates, and going above and beyond the call of what was expected of them. Today, DriveClub is a different game altogether, a far more critically respected game, and one that has sold 2 million copies worldwide.

Now, as the game enters its second year, Evolution Studios issued a statement where they outlined their vision for the game going forward.

“We’ve got loads planned to keep the game growing around you with new features, modes, tracks, cars and some big surprises on the way,” they said.

“Your input always plays a huge part in powering our monthly updates too, just like you have done from the very start, and we’re already working on your most popular requests. Fully customizable multiplayer lobbies, new difficulty options, more tracks, community events, extra photomode options, fine-tuning for drift mode, smarter notifications and many more developments are all incoming.”

I have personally got a lot of respect for Evolution Studios, and for how they handled and conducted themselves. My hope is that they continue to update the game, and that they continue to get success and recognition for their hard work.
